Get Involved

SCAN makes getting involved in public issues and community initiatives easy. You can get involved in lots of ways, including attending our workshops for community groups, getting involved in community initiatives, learning about social justice activities in Toronto, contacting local political representatives and joining a neighbourhood association.

About SCAN

The Scarborough Civic Action Network (SCAN) is a network of agencies, community groups and residents working to improve the quality of life of Scarborough's diverse and growing population. SCAN is a nework that connectes communities around civic issues, and promotes the exchange of ideas and information across Scarborough. SCAN provides those who live and working in Scarborough with a variety of civic engagement opportunities and supports resident civic initiatives.
